DropsWatch is a long-running social media project on Twitter that I have been maintaining for over a year to help provide critical information for players of Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch. This unofficial Twitter feed works to provide daily updates to what current promotions are available in-game or if there are any “rewards-eligible” live streams such as esports competitions like Overwatch League or Overwatch Contenders. The DropsWatch Twitter feed uses its own logo and branding which I designed to keep it distinguished from official content from Blizzard. Unlike an official marketing social feed like that of @PlayOverwatch on Twitter which is intended to drive community engagement, this feed is kept very straightforward and presents its content in more of an infographic style for quick consumption by the viewer.

Note, this project is maintained in compliance with Blizzard’s fan website and user content policies and is permitted by the Overwatch community management team. Overwatch is a registered trademark of Blizzard Entertainment in the U.S. and in other countries.

Variations of the DropsWatch logo was created to celebrate each of Overwatch’s seasonal events.
